History |
| 2009 Feather River Route Centennial |
The underdog Western Pacific was completed in 1909 with the driving of a golden spike at the center of the Spanish Creek trestle, known today as the famous Keddie Wye. One hundred years later, the Feather River Route provides a vital transportation link as part of the transcontinental freight rail network. Visit this section for information on the celebrations and activities planned in 2009 to commemorate the centennial year of the famous Feather River Route. |
